Description
CJC-1295 without Drug Affinity Complex (No DAC), also known as Modified GRF (1–29) or Mod GRF 1-29, is a tetra-substituted synthetic analog of the first 29 amino acids of growth hormone-releasing hormone. Four amino acids in the native GHRH(1–29) sequence are replaced (D-Ala2, Gln8, Ala15, Leu27) to protect the peptide against rapid enzymatic cleavage by DPP-IV and other proteases, while retaining the short, pulse-preserving action profile of the parent fragment. Unlike the DAC-conjugated form, it does not bind albumin, making it the preferred reference compound when a short-acting GHRH-receptor agonist is required. It is supplied here for controlled analytical and laboratory investigation of GHRH-receptor signaling.
Research focus
- GHRH-receptor (GHRH-R) binding and activation
- Short-acting versus long-acting GHRH analog pharmacology (No DAC vs DAC; comparison with Sermorelin and Tesamorelin)
- Co-administration models with growth hormone secretagogues such as Ipamorelin
