Peptide Testing at Medtruva

HPLC testing laboratory with a scientist reviewing a chromatogram
Medtruva testing standardEvery peptide tested twice. Every order shipped with its certificate.

We don’t sell what we haven’t verified. Medtruva works directly with vetted suppliers, then tests every peptide two separate times: once at the supplier’s facility and again through our own independent third-party testing. Each peptide comes with a Certificate of Analysis, so you can check the result yourself.

Our process

From supplier to your lab, verified at every step

No guesswork and no unverified claims. Here is how every peptide earns a place in the Medtruva research peptide catalog.

1Vetted suppliersWe work directly with suppliers we have vetted, with no broker layer in between.
2Test one: the facilityThe supplier’s facility tests each peptide and documents the result.
3Test two: independent labWe run our own testing through a third-party laboratory, as a second, separate check.
4Certificate includedEach peptide ships with its Certificate of Analysis (COA).
The method

Why we use HPLC

High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) separates a sample into its individual components and measures each one. The output is a chromatogram: one dominant peak means the sample is mostly the target peptide, while smaller peaks reveal impurities.

It is the gold-standard method for peptide purity, which is why it is the method we rely on.

  • Reports purity as a clear percentage
  • Separates and detects impurities
  • Repeatable from lot to lot

Your documentation

A Certificate of Analysis with every peptide

A COA is the laboratory’s written record of what was tested and what it found. Ours is there so you never have to take our word for it.

Testing FAQ

Common questions about peptide testing

What does HPLC testing measure?

HPLC (high-performance liquid chromatography) separates a peptide sample into its individual components and measures each one. The result is a purity percentage and a chromatogram showing the main peak and any impurities.

How many times is each peptide tested?

Every peptide is tested twice: once at the supplier’s facility and once through our own independent third-party testing.

What is a Certificate of Analysis (COA)?

A COA is the laboratory’s written record of what was tested and what it found, including the HPLC purity result for that peptide.

Does every peptide come with a COA?

Yes. Every peptide comes with its Certificate of Analysis. If you have a question about a specific lot, contact us and we will help.
