Description
Sermorelin is a synthetic 29-amino-acid peptide corresponding to the N-terminal fragment of human growth hormone-releasing hormone, GHRH(1–29). This segment is the shortest fragment that retains the full receptor activity of native GHRH, which is why Sermorelin is widely used as a reference compound in studies of the growth hormone-releasing hormone receptor (GHRH-R) and pulsatile somatotroph signaling. It is supplied here for controlled analytical and laboratory investigation of GHRH-receptor pathways.
Research focus
- GHRH-receptor (GHRH-R) binding and activation
- Pituitary somatotroph signaling and pulsatile growth hormone release models
- Comparative studies with growth hormone secretagogues (e.g. Ipamorelin, CJC-1295)
